what have you gotten done on your blazer today?

Yeah no MAF is a good & not so good thing. Our newer, electronic vehicles have the MAF which senses the air coming in & adjusts the fuel accordingly so you get best performance according to stock. More toys = more things that can go wrong though!!!
We don't have to adjust timing like a vehicle you have, it does it by itself. We DO have all the freeking DTC's to deal with but it's better to know beforehand if you aren't sure what the issue is IMO (hearing, seat of the pants etc). They are problematic - <sigh> I miss my '80 GM Sierra Grand 4x4 lol

Did this today....$214.20...was time to go.

It did good except scratched bumper up.
I need the new rubber/plastic thing above the tow hitch though.
What happens after three hours of driving to cover 20 miles....DING SLAM. Oh well didn't care

So with that no-progress project gone I did some cleaning so I could start parking Silver in the shop/garage where she would be safe.

And still have room to tiddle around with work or whatever. I bet you I will remove the ball after I hit it...knock on wood...hope my shin does not find it in the dark hours of the day getting into the truck.

Side note---no more oil changes or working on the Blazer in the gravel. Nice flat concrete to roll around on.
But compared to the cars I use to have in there...Silver's a little...well big.
Sad the shop was built in 2005 and tonight was the first time I have ever used in to park my DD. Normally I kept the project cars in there, but I am moving on from that. I have small things to repair to keep me occupied.

Been trying to diagnose why I only get 300Km per tank. Really starting to bother me. I get a MAF code when I get into the throttle a bit on the highway. Cleaned it and haven't seen it since. I also used only Costco gas for about a month and a half. Could that be a problem? I'm stumped and I don't feel like buying a MAF for $280 from Partsource.
Oh and HOLY ****! PJ, Everytime I see those lights, I think they get bigger!
