Default Transmissions are *SO* easy to remove!

OK, so I actually did this yesterday– I was too tired to post last night.

A buddy and I pulled the transmission on my 93 Jimmy. We removed the exhaust Y-pipe, front and rear drive shafts, and transfer case. Removing the transfer case made it easy to get to the two upper bellhousing bolts. We were able to tilt the engine and transmission down which gave plenty of clearance to get to the bolts. I didn't have any trouble getting the bolts out because they weren't there! Apparently when I had the Jimmy at the shop last summer the shop just didn't bother to put the two top bolts in. I wasn't too upset because it made it easy to get the tranny out. Now I can inspect the transmission and find out why it's leaking from behind the torque converter.

Got my steering all replaced so hopefully most of the steering slop is gone. Needs a ball joint still, not looking forward to that. Making plans to swap out the fan with a efan from a Grand National. I figure if it can keep a 500hp turbo V6 cool it should have no problem with my stock 350.

Saturday installed a bull bar and mounted a pair of Hella 500's to it. Those things throw some light for sure.

Saturday morning i gave her a deeply needed wash.

went & started to put my brother's interior & dash back in his Summer Dime after lunch. then it snowed & dropped about 5 inches on it when i came back out about 2 1/2 hours later.

WTF!?? i never heard anything about snow in the forcast!

then i realized i was on fumes when i went to go home.

so i put in another 70L of fuel.

only other thing i've done since then is put more miles on it.

Look good man. I ordered some of the Warden A/T's from them in 31x10.5x15. Should have them any day now.
