Old Skool Lover n myself changed plugs, wires, distro cap, and rotor (he did majority of the work - BIG THANKS!!!!!!!!!!) today. froze my hands and *** off - so did he - for it too BUT i'm now running about 19.3mpg for the same speed on the highway

Major win in my eyes. not to mention in about 2 mths time it'll have paid for itself. Who woulda thought that replacing the plugs with the SAME NGK G-Force platinum plugs would do that significant of a change in fuel economy! they were deff worn tho, Chris used his gap check and they were about a .60 or so when they should be .55 - couple were flakey, 2 were a real pain to get out and neither was actually plug 3! one even had some nasty corrosion on the ground prong....

All in all, i learned quite a bit! never had to deal with a rotor or distro cap in any of my vehicles, i also misinterpreted the whole process and assumed i needed to do the Distro timing steps when in reality i didn't. BIG THANKS again to you chris for everything! plus my baby now has that pickup off the line it should have had all this time.

I didnt remove the pad from the metal but I washed it down with soap and water and sanded a bit, not heavily thought. I think once all this new snow melts I'm going to try a few junk yards see if they have any. And if all else fails I will probably buy a new one.

Also.. this was yesterday just didnt have time to get on yesterday. This was taken right after I got into my buddy's house. We got about 9+ inches.. it was insane I just drove around all day looking for people to pull out. Had fun but tired of the cold. Cant wait for summer, then I get to start the motor swap!

Haha your lucky... I have a 31 gallon tank... takes more well over $130 to fill...and you get better gas mileage...I'd rather pay $61 dollars and know I have a full tank than pay $61 dollars and only have a half! =) Be happy!
