Put new lights on the brush gaurd, old ones were rusted and the relay was shot, so new lights and ran new wiring........oil change - royal purple, washed it, gased up, shined the tires, vacuumed.....and did a check over, everything to make it ready for a 3000km trip this week

Thanks, till the end of august so about 4 months! should be a good time, not looking forward to pulling a trailer 3000km and listen to the blazer struggle getting it over some of the mountain passes.

Finally emptied out the Jimmy after my move back from school. All the seats were down with stuff crammed all the way to the ceiling!

lol Jon... wanna buy a supercharger & aftermarket intake? KIDDING!!!

Good luck to you & get home safe! All the power mods I've done are just for that - hauling something at highway speeds etc & not having the blazer struggle or me having to floor it.

Talking Runnin' Strong!

Got a new coolant temp sensor (check engine light / no start from this)

New Distributor Cap and rotor (whatever brand the shop decided to get.)
New Taylor Cable Spark Plug Wires (link --> Taylor Cable 74635 - Taylor Spiro-Pro Spark Plug Wire Sets - Overview - SummitRacing.com)
New NGK G-Power Spark Plugs (ebay $30.-)

Oil Change

Now She's Runnin' Like A Champ (There was a bit of a rumble when idling before)!

Hmm... I'm going to post up about this whole week.

Saturday (last week, I know, but it still counts) Purchased my 00 Blazer ZR2
Sunday went to Autozone to have them scan the code that popped up. (1-2 shift solenoid)
Tuesday went to the mechanic for an oil change/trans fluid and filter with solenoid and inspection.

Today realized the trans is still not shifting properly and I have to drop a grand on a new one. Then went to Autozone for new plugs/wires/cap/rotor and air filter to (hopefully) get rid of the stumble the truck has.

Tomorrow... I'll be doing the tune up.

Saturday, if anything else breaks, I'm burning the truck to the ground.
