what have you gotten done on your blazer today?
Removed the dash to get to the radio. Rear speakers haven't been working since I bought the truck a few months ago. Everything looked good so now I have to remove the door panels and check there sometime. Also researched the forum for the #3 spark plug removal to prep for a tune up when I have the time. Finally, researched remove and replace, R2, the steering gear box. I have a ton of play in my steering so this is probably the #1 project I need to do.
Lotta looking but not a whole lot of doing pretty much today!
Just remembered, did more research on door panel removal and tried to find some info on the door handle and opening mechanism. My drivers door opens with no problem from the outside, but on the inside I have to pull the handle and ram my shoulder into the door to open it. This is no fun! More researching for when I have time from work to do some upkeep on the Blazer!

found rust patch by the drivers rear fender flare...damn rust worked its way through from the back side, have a few tiny pin holes from it..shizzz.........oh well peeled off the flaking paint, sanded the rust, few coats of rust killer/primer...tomorrow throw on a coat of paint and re rockerguard the rockerpanels again......put on a nice thick coat, or a few so it plugs all the pin holes up
I probably should have, but it was bent up and missing parts, so I scrapped it.
seems to be something about factory gm cd players, both the one in the good blazer and the parts blazers dont work. on the plus side, i guess that makes them almost as anti-theft as a 8-track.
Bought my 91 s10 blazer 4x4 for $350 about a month ago... since I got it I've done 2" shackles rear and tweaked torsions up front about 1.5". Next was 31" KUMHO MOJAVE A/T tires. Fuel Filter, Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, intake manifold gasket, oil change, T-case, front and rear diff drain and fill, trans filter and pan gasket with fresh ATF, Inner & Outer tie rod ends both sides, Idler arms. Now I need to get back into it and do the upper and lower ball joints on both sides (not all bad but I bought them all) So honestly haven't done anything today but have done alot in a month.

Not a full exhaust. I'm gonna do that in the summer at a shop. Probably just get a cherrybomb extreme/vortex to replace the stock. I just wanna be heard, especially driving by the security at Honda lol
