what have you gotten done on your blazer today?

Now that I have my projects lined up, waiting for cash to cover them, I'm ordering a grille shell, tail pipes, (muffler back) with fittings, trying to pop out my rear quarter dent, wire up my fog lights, install a new blower motor. I have my eye on 20" Tahoe wheels (5 spoke with flat edges) wanting to put my own custom paint on them, and of course, the H2 spare carrier. The last 2 will have wait for now. Post and pictures will follow.

changed the oil today, checked the front diff oil level and put a manual valve in the vaccum line going to the acutator for the front axle. i normally just unhook and plug it for the non-winter months. (vac switch stuck on) but after being stuck in a muddy parking field in 90+ degree weather and having to pull the battery to have 4wd, i decided id like to have a better way of disableing the front axle while still being able to quickly turn it back on if some freak situation requires it. was sure to show the wife too, i know she couldnt have pulled the battery and hooked the acutator back up that weekend, but she can turn a air valve. eventually i'll either put a posi-lock on or run the valve and lines into the drivers area. right now the valve is beside the battery under the hood. if it wasnt for the 2 mpg fuel milage penalty, id just leave it be a "live axle" all year long like i do in the winter.

...trying to get a sticker for my 2001 Jimmy...just got done replacing the Pitman arm and idler arm, oil pump-to-remote filter lines, serpentine belt, rear brake lines and rear tires...only to have the 'check engine' light come on for that P0440 code...
