I impressed a jeep owner who would never think that a blazer could haul a 19.5ft long car hauler with a car on it and have no issues doing so. he said it was a smooth ride and could barely tell there was a car in tow lol.

I finally found what was making the tappy/clunking noise!!!

noticed it just the last month or so. It made no sense at all, only happened at highway speeds, didn't correspond to bumps or acceleration or steering, and just a constant light tap tap thunk tappity thunk.... I could feel it through the floor, but not through steering, and it was driving me nuts

so, yeah, the rubber splash guard that covers the left front shock mount was torn halfway through, and flapping wildly against the wheel well. Is torn off now, is it recommended to replace that piece? I don't do any offroading, but ice will be an issue in about a month or so.

I ran my rpo codes thru the decoder. Found out the block heater is factory installed

I also painted the chrome (now black) grill insert, will probably install tomorrow.

I guess it's time for me to post some pics, now that I'm getting hooked on this place?

Moved to Alberta,
Sold the LS ,
used some of the money to buy the wife a caravan,
on the LT I replaced;
The multifunction switch,
the muffler,
oil cooling lines (filter to rad part)
(engine to filter part waiting in back for remote filter mount)
replaced O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 (no more MIL code)
left front CV axle
rear drive shaft U joints
cleaned the leather
bought nerf bars for $100 and installed the passenger side one.
Drivers side nerf bar will have to wait till I get the damn broken bolt out of the body mount. Sounds like I will have to get a new mount.
Obvously not all this happend today but within the span of 2 weeks.

Nice friend, haha.

I've found that spraying the glass with water and then using a razor blade makes the blade slide a lot easier across the glass surface and seems to pull up the paint easier. That's how I do it, at least, seems to work for me.
