Prepare to love how your exhaust sounds. When i was selling my blazer, the guy said the reason it may have threw a rod or whatever could be because of little back pressure, would that make sense?

 

not really, throwing rods can be caused by a lot of stuff but little back pressure doesn't make sense, if you had a clogged up exhaust MAYBE, but then again i'm think the car would choke and die before it could generate the pressure to throw the rod. usually it is caused by someone putting antifreeze in their oil accidently, or a blown headgaket allowing antifreeze and water to leak into cylinders and generate too much pressure and finally throw the rod, it would be prequeled by very loud knocking.

 

Edit: Nevermind, I confused your blown motor with Benedict's all water diet.

 

Sanded my passenger door to the primer thanks to the PO's feeble attempt with body work. Can't paint today cause of the wind, we'll see about tommorow.

 

Just arranged to have the truck towed to the trans guy.
