what have you gotten done on your blazer today?
Finished coating the drivers side with bedliner, fixed the bedliner on the front bumper, removed the pinstripe from the passenger side and finished the spare tire carrier. I'll get the carrier mounted up tomorrow, and sometime this week I'll pick up some more masking tape and bedliner and do the passenger side to match.
Now for some pictures:
Difficult to see well, but here's the front bumper:

And the drivers side:

My tape line wasn't as straight as I thought, but I think it looks damn good.

Nice job and the tape was straight enough it isnt noticeable if you didnt say any thing hehe
Thanks.
I also researched a little bit and found out how to remove the flares, so I may do that and liner those as well since they are in desperate need of a coating as well. Not at all looking forward to removing the front fenders though, so perhaps I'll just do the back for now, haha.

its easier to just tape them and paint them on the fender its self
I know its alot of tape but its worth it
I may go that route too. I was thinking about taking them off of the rear at least, so I can see how bad the rust is under them ahead of the wheel wells. I have a small hole on the drivers side, and just noticed rust bubbles popping up on the passenger side today. I figure if I pull the flares I would get a good look at whether there's more rust I would need to take care of.
as for putting the wires through the firewall i just used the hole that is by the passenger side under the dash. its a little behind the carpet. i have my air horn line going through there and also my lights wires.
as for yesterday i found a nice find at the pick n pull out here in wadsworth.

its off a jimmy they must have just put on the lot. it only has a few dents in it and not much chipping but its better than my last hood.

so i figured i will make a snorkle with this hood today!!! all i have to do is cut a hole in the hood for the intake and just turn it around and it will fit perfectly for the filter to stick out.

maybe ill run some pvc pipe somewhere else but for now ill just cut the hole. lol

Get a wire coat hanger & straighten it out. Fish it from the cab into the engine compartment under the dash. There should be a rubber grommet up by the brake pedal against/on the cab side of the firewall with wires going through it already, there is on mine anyway. You may have to move some carpeting to get to it.
Then route the wires & losely ziptie them out of harms way. Put the wires beside the coat hanger & with electrical tape, tape them on it really tight. Then slowly pull the coat hanger back into the cab with the wires attached to it - voila, place the switch where you want, makes sense & you can hide the wires behind it & hookem up!
Pull the excess wire somewhere & ziptie it up leaving a bit of slack all along the wires.

I finally got around to getting my white footwell led's going. It complements the dome light very well. I'll have to snap a pic when it gets a little darker outside.
