tryed to find a water leak inside passenger side floor.
i think i found it, the inner fender was dented and allowing water to go behind, and it rusted a hole in my firewall.
i looked for the blower housing drain, but could not find it....

Okay, so both of the rear bearings were worn out. They needed the repair axle bearings so those are now installed and it fixed the humming. Yay for new bearings! lol. And also, the rear differential fluid was changed out with some fresh and I put in the additive for my G80 diffy and finally a new diffy gasket and cover was put on. So now my G80 diffy is a happy diffy.

I didn't realize how much the cover stood out until I backed away from it. It gets your attention that's for sure. Here's a pic.

Looks good.

Got my front bearings done today. Passenger side felt good still, but I figured I would change it anyways to be sure.

Drivers side was totally shot, though. The rubber seal in back was half gone, and the bearing had almost 1/4 inch of play! I will toss up a pic or video of it later on.

Good you got it done. I'm glad mine were the rear because those whole hub assemblies aren't cheap at all. But I know I'll probably have to do my front in a couple months. It hasn't made noise yet luckily though, and the car is quiet again.

They're actually not bad if you know where to look. I got mine on amazon.com for 70 dollars shipped, even after choosing 2 day shipping. They're a brand called precision, and have the same warranty as "better" units.

those diffs does not need additives.
regular or synthetic fluid only.

i just did my bearings and everybody(in real life and on internet) says to not add anything cause it wont do anything better, just maybe worst for the clutches.

just wanted to let you know.
