oh and i decided i am going to take my truck to proctoberfest. its next weekend up in cedarburg WI. im not sure exactly where or anything like that but i know only a couple hundred people go. im gonna try and wheel my 96 cause i have no way of getting the k5 up there. incase anybody wanted to go with to that let me know by pm and ill see if i can get an address for ya.

(Last night) Drove my buddy to buy himself an Exploder, and then left it at the bar after my bday party there. Was a darn good time.

I Need to get some vacuum hose and finish off my CB mount one of these days too.

took rear driveshaft loose so i could grease the u-joints, dad had put greaseable u-joints in a couple of years ago but the lack of clearance with the driveshaft installed makes it impossible to grease unless you take the driveshaft loose from the diff & drop it. used a c clamp to hold the bearing caps in place while greasing. also greased the front steering linkage.

ok, not really what i got but close enough....
my blazer got a little brother couple days ago.
my younger brother picked up a 2001 zr2 for 2500.00!!!

man i wish i had the cash....oh well.
great deal to, went over it with a fine tooth comb...couldnt find anything wrong with it.
even has moon roof and newer tires/brakes.
has 160k on it roughly....guy wanted to ditch it because of "poor gas mileage"
so my brother got lucky.

on the plus side it is the same color as mine soooo i called dibs if he ever sells it.
for parts or driving.

best part....he was driving a 99 exploder...got hit...was totaled...they gave him 3000.00 for that pos...so he actually made 500.00...
i told him "best dumb luck of the year"!!

hopefully he will soon be a member here as well....told him you guys know all there is to know in the blazer world around these parts.

Installed the hitch on my 87 K5, those front bolts are a bitch.

My help failed me and let the hitch fall and hit me in the side of the head while he was trying to line up the bolts.

Owwww my head hurts and its been 6 hours now.
