Had two things happen to my blazer this week. Tuesday my idler pully ducided
to throw a bearing my uncle was able to bring me a idlier pully and a new belt at work, and of course I couldnt get off a little early to fix it. Because the boss is a real a$$, but thats besides the point! Anyway installed the new pully and the belt really didnt look that bad it was napa made, so I just put the one my uncle gave me in the back just in case. I noticed this right away so it really did not have time to tear up the belt. Well then this weekend I noticed that the heat was not working, and I just flushed out the heater coil witch "believe it or not" was an seccess. So I checked the water level and sure enuff the water level was low, so I added some water started the truck and it took a minute, but soon as it reached running temp. you could see the water trinkling down the aluminum part of the rad! $130 at the trusty Auto Zone and about $100 on the web so it really was not something that could wait for shipping, so i spend the extra $30. And was able to take that belt back that I did'nt end up needing. That was almost thrity bucks and I was going to take the old rad. down to a scrap yard this morning for mainly gas money, "HEY" I also have that old motor I'll take down there to. Well Anyway replaced the rad. and it came with new tranny coolier lines adapters. It was a pretty simple job and I'm sure glad to know that I dont have to worry about that for a long time "Thank you Jeses". But you want to know something funny when ever someone ask me what year my truck is?I have to thing about it ,if Im working on the body or the motor? haha.

Fixed the miss that has been present since I bought it last year! FINALLY!

It got really bad last week, nearly undriveable. It just so happened that the started failed on Friday so I had to get a ride home from work and have someone drive me to pick up a new started and to the parking lot where my truck was to replace it. Anyway, got the starter replaced and figured I'd go ahead with a compression check to try and narrow down the cause of the miss and found all cylinders checked out good. This led me back to the cap/rotor which looked like new when I bought the truck so I figured for $50 it couldn't hurt to replace them... well lo'n'behold she purrs like a kitten with the new cap and rotor!

Well today I spend the day with my family and even squeezed in time this morning to go to the scrapyard witch was a waste of gas money I guess thre is a 50/50 chance on that motor being worth anything or not ,the guy down there said if it was one kind of metel it would be quite a bit more money. I only recieved 3.08 for my cleaned rad.,And just so happen I had abelt that I bought and I did'nt think I needed so I took It back that was $30. Anyway the fair is in town and my company gives us 2 free tickets every year so we spent about 3 1/2 Hrs there to day and the kids had a ball, and I even enjoyed myself.I even had the chance to wash her today refering to my blazer. She's all sparkiling and $tuff! Oh yah and watched for leaks from were I changed thr rad. yesterday but I drove it to Augsta today and did'nt even hear bubbling in the heater coil, that was great.

Replaced the right side hub because there was a little 'growl' which increased when turning left.

3 hours and lots of chuckles recalling how the hubs seem to fall right out on about half the Youtube how-to's. No worse than I expected, though.. just need patience for about 3 hours.. and a couple hammers, as usual.
- After lifting control arm with jack.. Reverse the axle nut and run it down even with end of axle, whack it good with sledge to break spline loose.
- Back the three hub bolts out till ends are even with hub ears. Whack the ears with hammer, the spindle at backplate caliper cutout, then the bolt heads to break hub loose from spindle. Be patient, beating not necessary. DO NOT use chisel like some idiots on youtube.

Got the hub off and spun it. huh.. turns easy, still stiff, no sing but felt a little rough.
- Draw new hub in a turn or two at a time each three bolts.

Got done.. washed up, took it for spin to store to check and see if I was right.

DANG, I'm good. No bearing growl!
- but -
%$^$#^$#$%$#@#@!!!!!!!

NOW the compressor pulley bearing is making ominous noises it didnt make just a couple days ago!

Why wont she just give me a LITTLE Break!
