got the blazer back from the mechanic. just had the intake manifold gaskets replaced.

glad to have it back, but MAN that was an expensive repair. i just wasn't in the mood to do it myself. (and probably would have screwed something up!)

so now, just install the two hub/bearing assemblies, and it's ready for winter.

looking forward to 4 wheeling in the snow!

have you checked the cv joints? mine was doing sort of the same thing till i replaced the joints now its fine. good luck.

Well I replaced my MC today it was by-passing, Now I can sit at a red light without my brake pedal going down, down, down......lol

Today I cleaned my maf sensor, flushed my coolant, replaced my thermostat and lubed my suspension. Feels so dam good. Next is an alignment and waxing. And if money is right I'll take it to get the motor detailed :-)

I topped off the steering fluid, it's nice to turn without vibration.

Check ball joints......and tie rod ends, when they run out of grease sometimes they pop when you turn the wheel.


I got my tires put on today, it was such a tease because my new gas tank hasn't shown up yet and i can't even drive the damn thing...... anyway, here's a couple pix. I'll get more once the tank is in and it's off the jack stands.

THANKS!! They were a steal at 182.50 a tire installed....plus i have a $75 rebate from cooper to mail in.
