Checked on the spark plug that keeps loosening up and found that it's still tight, so that's good.

Also noticed that the plug wire wasn't connected all the way somehow. Double checked it when I put it on and went for a drive, and all seems fine now.

Filled her up today and went to the woods hunting. Hard work paid off, it ran like a dream.

Considering putting it up for sale. Can't figure out this hesitation issue and I'm getting bored.

How about some pics of the drop plate?

Put in rear brake pads yesterday and changed the oil. Drove it into NYC last night and the brakes feel great. I had last done the rears when I bought the truck and always clean and re-lube the pins. One pin was rusty, and when I sprayed WD40 into the hole in the caliper bracket to clean it out, the stuff squirted out of a hole in the casting... Turns out, there was a small defect that allowed water to get into the hole where the pin goes. Cleaned it out good, and patched it with JB Weld. Hope it holds.

There's still an intermittent squeal though, and I can't tell from inside the car if it's the front or rear brakes... Front pads looked great when I checked them last month for state inspection. Will have to investigate further, but at least I have good brakes going into the winter.

Also have a pinpoint exhaust leak at the flange between the muffler and cat. Bolts are tight, so I'll have to see about replacing the gasket. It's not too loud, but you can hear it... Maybe next week...
