Not really blazer related, but went to the casino today to gamble a bit. It was fun other than them asking for my id every 20 or 30 minutes. I got fed up with it. I mean I'm 21, but I definitely don't look like I'm 12. I have plenty of facial hair I'd hope a 12 year old wouldn't have yet. But I made a small profit there. Not really much at all, but better than going even or on the negative.

Also, I'm going to really try to get some work done on the cb and maybe even the skid plate. I keep on saying that and things come up...

^^^ I was already shaving by age 12 ...

Last week my built-in instinct to save a buck bit me squarely in the ***. While doing the engine swap, instead of doing the correct thing & spending $100 on a new radiator last September, I decided to melt plastic & epoxy the old one. It worked ... up until last week ... which of course is when the first snow in 8 weeks comes, and is the coldest week in about that same amount of time. Never fails! What kills me is I know better too ...

So last Friday I ordered a new unit from Advance Auto. Gotta love coupon codes. $131 radiator shipped to my door for $98 & change.

Also fixed the Sylvania Silverstar that burned out (3rd .... and LAST one I ever buy). The sealed beams don't even last a year ... but the 9007's in the new trucks last forever. On year 3 with those. Was thinking of upgrading the Blazer lighting to an H4 halogen, or HID with removable bulbs ... but it's only a winter beater. Might save that for the Grand Marquis instead.

got the leafs off of my 78. i just have to cut one more bolt with the sawzall then it will be out. then i have to do the same for the one i sold and put the leaf springs back in. all by sunday... ill be able to do it though. since its nice and warm out i have plenty of good motivation. wish i had a cutting torch though. would make things a lot easier... but my stepdad doesnt think i know how to use one even though im in a class and we are well past the cutting torch but whatever. and once i get an email back from curt at diy4x im going to order new u-bolts and a rear shackle flip. that way i can get rid of those pesky lift blocks and try to reduce axle wrap.

Had a few minutes of fun splashing in the lake in my parking lot at work. It's not much, but a few minutes of splashing always makes me happy after a long day. Now if only we had real mud to play in...

Haha, I love splashing in the puddles by my work too.

I finally got around to wiring my roof lights with relays, instead of just the direct power through the switches. Soon I'm going to make a new center console switch panel with some smaller switches.
