Well my blazer got a new crankshaft sensor harness, too bad I wasn't able to do it myself. I had to get a mechanic to do it. It makes me cringe, another mans hands all over MY blazer... I go to pick it up on monday, my new favorite day of the week.

took a good 70+ mile round trip today, ses light still staying off. used it as a truck today, back seats folded down flat. its weird how a 5,000 pound mini suv can get better milage than a 4,300 pound 4.0 ranger pickup, must all be in the final gearing, the blazer turns about 1600 rpms in o/d @ 55 while the ranger is turning about 2,000 in o/d @ 55. got a bad howl from the rear end of the blazer though, may end up doing a rebuild of my spare axle, only bad thing is i'll have to swap out the front also. the "good" blazer runs 3.42 gears, while the "parts" blazer has 3.73's, the 3.73 axle does have a G80 though. im sure it needs a going through, that truck had 190,000+ miles when it was parked.
