Replaced a froze up Vac switch on the transfer case. Took care of the grinding noise in 2hi.

 

Replaced heater controls and fixed sagging doors. Had to weld ovaled pin holes. Not a fun job to do by yourself, but glad to be done with it. No more wind noise.

 

replaced the steering gear box today feels much tighter gotta get it aligned now

 

Finally fixed my starting issues. A combo of a shot solenoid, and two of the three positive terminal battery bolts were stripped out. Glad to have it starting better than ever.

 

sold the 83 yesterday. for 800. hes letting me take the springs off which is all i wanted from the truck anyways. so i gotta get crackin on that this week. just the rears too so it shouldnt be too hard... i hope.

Not exactly Blazer related, but I've been day dreaming about selling the Blazer and buying a bike for the summer.

However, then I'd have to find another Blazer in fall when the price jumps back up on them.

 

I was going to take a video of my dash with my rpm and everything today but got the phone call from work ask me to see if I want to come in 2 hours early than I normally go in so I told him yeah I will come in. Leaving in 25 minutes so on Thursday I will try to take a video of the dash while I am driving but need to have somebody to come with so they can record it while I am driving.

 

I was going into the snowmobile trails today and the 4x4 decided not to engage .....

what a day im real pissed but what can we do ....
im going to try to find the problem tomorrow

 

Decided to dirty up the truck a bit by splashing through puddles at work.

Then cleaned it up at the car wash. So much fun.
