I'll never bitch again when doing ball joints on an S series ....

Oh ... and this truck is an '07 with 52,8xx miles on it. I could've bought 30 S10's for what it cost ... and it's LESS reliable ...

Putting new Bilstein struts in while it's apart. The strut springs are so big it bent my "heavy duty" strut spring compressor. Off to the shop I go ...

Just had a my transmission rebuilt for $1000.00 at a shop. The body of my Blazer has almost 300,000mi on it and the transmission was original. I should dance in the streets that it lasted that long with no problems. She run better than ever now!

Found a tire carrier for free from one of my dad's friend. It is off from the Toyota 4runner. Going to have to do some modification to it but for free can't beat that. Going up there in the next 2 weeks to start working on it.

New front door hinge pins and bushings....

I had to cut out the passenger side but the bushings were bad.

The driver's side was so bad that I smacked the pins and they literally fell out.

Now it doesn't squeak like a bucket of mice over every bump.

Oil change this weekend and inspection in a couple of weeks.

Change out the upper control arm bushings. Though it was going to be a pain but I had the right tools and it only took 3hrs.
