Just picked up a new idler arm since I failed inspection today. The old one was a pro forged with a million mile warranty and I got 6k miles out of it Hmmmm!! I don't have time to wait for them to ship a new one so I went and got a moog and I'll deal with pro forged later.

I am definitely not a fan of the tails. but if you like it, that is all that matters, what brand paint did you use? looks like a deep black, cant wait to see it in the sun.

Just FYI, I run a Moog as well and they last until my first wheeling trip before needing replaced. I just went ahead and bought a different idler from Napa, Advance, Autozone and O'Reilly. Now I just rotate the warranties so it doesn't look as bad, haha. I'll be upgrading to a 1 ton if I don't go SAS soon though.

I believe it was Omni Jet Black with green pearl in it. Nothing fancy. It is indeed a very deep black. Shame there wasn't more pearl in it though.

no it was just a solenoid going to the motor under the battery box.

Its the GMC Jimmy 4 button 4wd this one is loaded everything, stock Bose sound system, heated/elec seats, etc.. . Their is so much electronics/electric in that thing that I'm shocked their isn't a second battery.

I like your way of thinking lol!! Luckily the guys at my Advanced know me pretty well and they don't ever question me when I bring in warranty things They probably should tho!!

So I got the idler arm replaced and got the truck reinspected all before 10am today man I'm doing good today. I'm going to have to replace my hub bearings next. one has already been done and I have a warranty on that so I will only have to buy one and then replace them at the same time. I'm considering doing the cvs at the same time as well since it will be all apart anyway.

yesterday i put a new a/c compressor on my 98. then my 93 lost 3rd and 4th gear. but today keeping it easy took my blend door actuator off and going to try to repair the cracked gear.
