what have you gotten done on your blazer today?

Mines reg as a 12,000LB truck here in Missouri. I did that because the title says truck and the lowest you can go on a truck is 6000. At 12,000LBs, you dont have to wear a seatbelt. It costs like $70 some a year plus inspection costs which is $12.
As of what i did to my Blazer today, I tried out some of my new auto detailing equipment on it. I must tell ya, I really like how the dash turned out with the TurtleWax version of ArmorAll.

Here are the view of the tow hooks after I use the rust/paint stripper wheel then repaint them gloss black.

This is the before picture before I repaint them.

This is the after picture after I install them back on

Closer view of the after picture after I install them back on

Can't wait to see the pictures. It didn't turned out too bad for the first time doing it. If you have photobucket account you can upload them picture on there and copy the img code and paste it on here. Or you can manage attachments on here too below.

Well, our '89 S10 with the Jimmy engine got us through another MA winter. Salt is off the roads, so the Marquis is back at it again & the Blazer is now parked for the season. Not one breakdown all winter! It's amazing how reliable these vehicles become when you remove all the electronics. Just the one fuel pump issue, which ended up being an electrical problem. I also found the source of a small oil leak the thing has had since the swap - turns out my sealer job on the unused crank position sensor isn't holding up like I had planned. Instead of black RTV, this time I'll go with Permatex Right Stuff - recently discovered how AWESOME that sealer is. Strong as hell too. Another quick check of the front end (even though it's all new) & she'll be ready for next winter.
