Took my son to see Monster Jam yesterday and now seems to be under the impression Daddys truck may just be a monster truck. Sooo... I took him out today for some mild off road action. Nothing crazy, just some articulation and a few puddles. Just enough to sling a little mud. Then a wash on the way home from the hardware store. Heres a couple pics. Enjoy!

Got a push bar tack welded together, ran out of gas to keep welding though.

3/8" wall tubing to frame. 1/2" Flatbar plasma cut for verticals, 1/4" wall pipe for the horizontals. Holes for hooks to attach at the bottom, tie down holes on top.

I won't be hand plasma cutting and then grinding those shapes again! Fairly sure it's over 100 lbs, wouldn't want to pay for that shipping!

After looking at a lot of pics online, I just went out with cardboard, sharpie, and razor blade. I'll see if I can get the cardboard template done up in cad, would be glad to share!

Having troubles with the bolt height fitting, think I'll have to weld nuts on top and run the bolts up from the bottom. Also going to drill them up to 1/2", and use grade 8.

I got mine over a month ago, just haven't felt like going to the DMV to get it...and certainly don't feel like overpaying at the currency exchange!
