Got to drive the Blazer for the first time in like a week & a half yesterday after being on vacation.

Gonna get a car wash & fill it up today... Then maybe order some new emblems.

I cleaned her out today.

Luckily NOTHING has happened bad it it in the last few months other then the coil pack dying, which was a performance coil that was under warranty. Thanks to atvwarrior i had a spare coil in the blazer that i used.

I did have to top off the oil with a quart after 1500 mile oil change. I know the valve seals smoke a little on start up,and the engines so clean you can eat off it. Sounds like shes getting a little tired. Hmm.

I installed an extra set of hids in my reverse lights today. I have a loose connection somewhere so that will need fixing.

Today I decided to flush my radiator fluid, as my truck had been running a bit hotter than normal. I popped the cap to find that the Dexron had turned to mud as happens after some time. I hooked up a flush kit and pumped out an incredible amount of gunk. I then looked in the overflow tank and found a pile of mud. I decided that if I capped the radiator and ran the hose on the flush kit, it would flush it out. Almost immediately the water pump gasket sprung a leak. I then endeavored to re-seal it. After completing that task, I put everything back together. Started it, all leaks gone. Approximately 3 minutes later I sprung a pin sized hole in a heater hose. I then replaced that with great difficulty. I tested it, drove it, all was well. I went home, parked it, and went outside later to see a large puddle of antifreeze under my Blazer. The OTHER heater hose sprung a pin sized leak in nearly the exact same place. I replaced it, flushed it again, and now all is well. What a day...

Since it's been cool (in the low 90s) I've been driving it so it doesn't just sit in the garage all the time.

Had a bad miss and found a plug wire pulled out of the metal socket and sparking on the frame...Odd since I haven't been under the hood in quite a while.
