i have noticed for a week or so that i hace a small hose or two hanging from tranny . i assumed it was from my recent tranny rebuild that ran 1500 . that they were just to lazy to pull out . nope , it was the actual vaccuum hoses from tranny vac switch ....so i ran all new vaccuum hoses from tranny vac switch, added new switch , and vac actuator, kind of a pain in my **** , but i am glad that i checked it ..ohh and i finished the debadging side trim and all emblems . it looks so such better , gonna clean her up and put a pic or two on . next i want back spacing .

Well... I finally got my intake installed after much tinkering. With the throttle body spacer adding more height to the plenum, the filter still touches the very bottom of the body. Heck, some of the intake tube is close to touching the hood too lol.

But in other news... I might have bedlinered my rocker panels. The prep work took forever!!!! But it is finished!

Thanks!

There is very little difference with the spacer. You might feel the slightest bit of difference at the top end when you go past 3500 to 4k rpm's, but that's about it. Mostly you will notice a whistling sound. If you have a cai and spacer, it'll just be a louder whistling sound lol. The only real reason I needed a spacer was to add height to my plenum. My body lift caused my cai not to fit right. With the spacer in there adding an inch or two to the plenum height, my cai actually fits!

tibby those panels came out sweet!

ok i detailed my blazer today, using all meguiars products, washed car, clay barred entire car,i used ultimate compound for the tuff water spots and it did take quite a while but it did the trick, used ultimate polish, then did 2 coats of gold class carnauba plus liquid wax. it looks amazing now compared how it looked before.

i posted pics on my build thread if anyones interested in checking it out
