Did brakes and rotors the other day,Much betta! but my pedal still has a inch of play before brakes engage decently. I guess il try bleeding em,but im starting to think its play in the master cylinder since its always had that bit of travel.

My wife states "made driving around town a whole lot easier and better with good response when she needed it".
Interesting idea. Does this affect fuel economy?

Cheers Franco
The fuel economy had basically stayed the same with that mod on the throttle body, it just got to speed easier and quicker. I am currently about to start altering the tune when i fit up a cold air intake. The other day i uploaded the tune from the vehicle to my laptop, and after looking through it i noticed that "Lean Cruise" is not currently activated and switched off. So after i finish remapping my tune and do economy comparisons with the stock tune (which i greatly believe will give more power and better economy) i will activate the "Lean cruise" section of the tune and do more tests........all this tuning and testing i will be doing will be done using 95 RON octane which is in the middle of our low and high octane fuels available here in New Zealand.

Regards Scotty

Remved all of the gear from my tail gate that I need to have in it to go on the beach. In all I probably removed 100 lbs or so. Lets see if I pick up any mpg's.

Got all my parts in a few days ago: ALL engine gaskets, Melling h/v oil pump (to make up for not installing new bearings), screen, steel shaft, and a set of brass freeze plugs.

Project is taking longer than normal, because I've got a bit sidetracked here with a TON of work I've put off for far too long now ...

Finally all the body rust is repaired, paint is completed and we are done. Also under-body sprayed with rust-mort and undercoating. Three coats of paint and 4 of clear coating. Lots of sanding and rubbing compound to fix do it your self issues. Updated the look removing the wheel well chrome and pinstripe. The 97 Blazer looks good. Xm tuner next.
