Replaced the rear glass gas spring. Went to PepBoys and told the man "for the glass" He then asked was it a hatch I said "for the glass" with tail gate. He then informed me that some blazers have hatches with glass in them. I said FOR THE GLASS WITH TAILGATE. He went in the back and returned with the gas spring for the hatch. 20 minutes later I walked out of PullYourPart with two near new ones half price.

The yard I go to right now has 10 1st gen Blazer/Jimmy/Bravadas and most are rust free.

Anyhow, working on my next mod.

Yes, tilt/telescopic steering. I will be having the 'Vette wheel recovered next year.

I appreciate that Chris, but I just want to be sure we're definitely keeping this thing before I go sinking any more cash into it. Already $400 in the hole (that's just this year) and we ended up putting the Focus on the road - that was $200 AND I was exempt from sales tax, thank God!! This thing has become the biggest money pit I've ever owned.

I'll let you know if I change my mind. Thanks!
