yep,use pf47 filter if you have 4x4. its shorter. and allows more room between it and the diff.

Alright. about to drive this sonoma 45 minutes to the other side of town and gonna start looking for/installing a tranny for a 4wd tahoe. Man,i thought i was done with trannys for a while. Money is money though.

if i were you id get that done as soon as possible. before your tranny starts to develop problems. its not too hard to do. took me a few days but thats because it was in the middle of winter and i was in a cramped garage doing it myself for the first time. hardest part is getting the transfer case down with only 1 set of hands. heavy sucker.

on another note i finished my disc brake conversion for the rear of my 14 bolt and its all bolted in.

here are the parts when i got them. the 2 are the disc brake brackets and the other 2 are spring plates for the ubolts.



and here they are on the truck. only took about 2 hours. and thats with picking up parts and painting them.

how much that 14 bolt stick out?

Started the blazer and moved it. Thats about it....

Half way thru wiring a pair of Alpine amps. Now going to cad up a box for the JL 13" My first real audio build.

Not much today. I drove it to sonic. tomorrow will probably involve some sound deadener and developing a plan to seal up the sunroof.

Installed a Valley brand receiver hitch to the rear and a pair of stock front tow hooks
Will continue the hunt for full size hooks but the stock are better than nothing at this point
