Haha i would, but i tend to have a heavy foot, and i would be annoyed by the fan blades vs tube sound it would give me all the time. lol Heck on my blazer i sold i had the mount chained down for a year until i finally replaced it. No problems other then a clank.

Well so far today I have driven it. Yesterday i went ahead and tackled the rear differential it had been leaking pretty bad and whining when i inspected it I could move the pinion around in the housing so i just knew the bearings were shot. I did some research on the forum to find out what rear end eras I'm my Jimmy and found a post that said the GU6 code in the glove box meant it has 3:42 gear ratio and "most likely" an 8.5 ring gear. After i got the seal bearings and races i pulled it apart to find out it was a 7 5/8 ring gear and I had a race and bearing and pumpkin gasket that wouldn't work. I'm 20 miles to the nearest parts store at 1230 and they close at 1 and my ride is disassembled. So i call the parts store and the owner decided to meet me with the parts i needed which i thought was awesome. anyway long story made shorter someone had been through the rear before and didn't tighten the nut that holds the yoke to the pinion. ALWAYS TIGHTEN YOUR NUTS AND BOLTS lol most of us know that but i when you forget one it's bad news bears.

Yesterday my passenger side door handle broke while at the car wash. This was in my 89 Jimmy and I could not find a replacement handle locally so I am ordering on line. I have the broken handle removed awaiting a replacement handle.

yesterday i installed my front dana 44 under the truck finally. took almost all day since it was rainy and sloppy outside and i was doing this myself. but its all done. just need to attach the front driveshaft, shocks, and the drag link and she will be complete!!! oh and i need to grind the calipers down to fit the 15 in wheels too. but that shouldnt be a problem. didnt work on it at all today because the rain all day but tomorrow should be done raining and i can finish this up. then i have to bleed the rear brakes. find out where my rear brake fluid is leaking from, have a rear driveshaft made, weld up some shock tabs for the rear, and find where one of my tires is leaking, then i think that is it till i find something else to do on it.

Today my buddy Alex used his only day off to help me install the gasket between the transmission adapter and the transfer case on my '98 Jimmy. That should eliminate the ATF leak. Later in the week I'll get the control arm bushings replaced and then I'll be able to put it all back together again.
I may even treat myself to some new tires once it's all back together again.

Got the Jimmy to the school shop and started removing everything from the engine bay.
So far we got. ABS UNIT, UNDER HOOD FUSE BOX, TIRES OFF RIMS, RADIATOR, and started on the CORE SUPPORT AND FENDERS.
Hopefully will be down to the block by the end of the week.
