Just got back from getting an inspection. Failed... Knew I would though! Just did it to see what it would take to pass. Just need new front brakes and wheel bearings. Woo. I thought there'd be more. Just ordered the brakes. Hubs/Bearings should be here today.

today i stopped off at the local offroad shop since im in need of a new driveshaft for the rear. right now im driving around on a jerry rigged driveshaft with washers used as spacers so the yoke straps get some grip on the caps. couldnt get a conversion joint on the count of the driveshaft yoke being something rediculious. anyways 300 for a new driveshaft or im gonnna shop around. see if i can find one for any cheaper.

Remember those tires I had put on the Jimmy yesterday? I left home to drive into Tacoma and got as far as the bottom of the hill in front of my house and the left rear tire was flat. I called my brother-in-law and he came and picked me up and ran me up to the shop where I grabbed my three-ton floor jack, a 19mm socket, a big ratchet, and a spare tire. I changed the tire down at the bottom of the hill and got back on the road.

Started rubbing my wheels down with some 000 steel wool, they had some corrosion from spraying "Hot Rims" on them when I first got my blazer.

I was thinking about mounting a hi-lift jack on my Blazer, but then I started thinking...what would I use it for.

Got the body bushings, and voltage regulators in the mail today. Now all I need is the floor pans and the drivers upper cab mount then I can get the cab mounts fixed.
