what have you gotten done on your blazer today?
well the day has finally arrived, had to bypass the heater core, i started smelling Antifreeze, went to a GMC dealer to get an estimate, $1500 to repair,ouch... but i have all summer to save... yea!!

Well,my center support was bad,and the body had 361k on it. original u joints etc. Well,today i...
Got my u joints and carrier support done. Friend has a shop and owed me a favor fior helping him move. well,spent 80 bucks in parts,that i didnt really have to spare. helped him with it. Got it all in. Well sounds good right? No. i snapped a zerk fittin off while putting it on,and killed a u joint. so more money later,its alllll in. I still have a joint i cant grease. i guess when it dies il change it. at least no more nylon locks.
Well anyways got it all in. i still have the same vibration,maybe worse. Well heres what i found. i went ahead and got a rear seal for that transmission since the shaft was out. cost me 4 bucks. Upon removal i saw that the main shaft had lots of play aka bearings. well now it got that issue,vibration and im working lil to part time. im THIS close to scrapping it and bumming rides. im pissed. if its the trans im gonna cry.

edit : OH my engine light came back on the way home. my lean o2 sensor thing came back after replacing sensor. goes off at a stop

I needed to work under the car but didn't have a floor jack so I tried to lift my Blazer like this using a fork lift. Ripped the door right off. I don't know what to do now. Any suggestions? I can't believe that happened.
Just kidding. I replaced my door pins and bushings today. They definitely needed to be replaced. One of the holes was egged out but my dad bent it back into shape using a hammer and the bushing fits tight now. The door doesn't sag and I don't have to listen to the wind noise anymore. Unfortunately I don't have that to help drown out all the other rattles and squeaks inside the truck now.
