Finally had to either replace head gaskets, or rebuild engine. So, when I started looking around for prices, I decided to have the engine rebuilt. I can run a/c (new one 2 yrs ago), & car doesn't get hot anymore. The one thing I have noticed, is that I hear a sound that I can only describe as ..... the sound a car with carburetor makes when it's running without the air filter on & you hit the gas. When I accelerate that's what I hear.
I don't claim to know a lot about cars, but I know what my car sounds like, I feel when she's not right. All in all I love my 2002 Blazer 2 door. It's the perfect size & all for me & my road dawg. A pomeranian/long haired daschund named Mollie.

Huh?!
*edit* Googled it, I do not really see the benefit to do so, seems dangerous too, I think having 20 gallons of fuel under the truck is bad enough, then to add propane to the AC system.

R-290 refrigerant is Propane. I still wouldn't use it though...

Finally got my door replaced ! Found a 96' Jimmy here in town and got the door with all the components in it for 125. Window works again ! My door handle works again ! My power mirrors work again !! Now all I have to do is replace the door lock cylinder from my old door to this new one and voila !!

Except I didn't realize the Jimmys badging was screwed and riveted to the door and removing the badging left some big annoying *** holes in the door Just one more project to fix ! But it's better than getting rained on and having my **** stolen every week ! Next step ......stereo !!
