Merry Christmas everybody!

I put in some 4x6 Scosches in the dash yesterday. They were on clearance for 19.00. I had to cut out the bass blocker and I had no issues mounting them.

I cleaned the ground strap from the tank filler neck and the ground for the splice pack. Replaced the t case shift motor (Christmas gift to myself), which I thought was bad. Turned out it was a loose wire at the tccm that was keeping the shift motor from working properly. I guess the wire wiggles out of the connector when I drive on bumpy roads, so ran a bead of hot glue to keep all the wires in place at the connector....... Christmas maintenance

I'm clicking away on rock auto, since I need to do a tune up and tie up some loose ends come spring time. I'm in hardcore 2014 planning mode

2x 02 sensors,
6x AC.D Platinum plugs
6x AC.D Plug wires
AC.D Distro cap
AC.D Distro rotor
AC.D Ignition coil
Dorman filler neck
L+R Moog Control arms w/ bushings
Haynes manual (probably ordering this tonight, won't hurt to grease up till I get the rest of the stuff)

I'm planning on an RC 2.5", it'll come with the upper control arms with ball joints

Up to oh about.... 550+450=1,000+.... Good thing I don't have a credit card!!!!

You...... make me sad. It makes me think of what I need to do. living in MN makes things rough especially not having a garage.

So since you mentioned spring........

Rocker panels will be replaced. passenger cab mount... that is alll... Seems much worse than it really is for a 93 in MN... but i'm sure it will be come spring... all the salt they use here.... want some salt on your snow?? want some salt on your anything... come to MN.. we use salt on everything.

I hear you. I went from Maine and having 2 1/2 usable garages (3, one has no power), tools, car lift, to Ohio and pissing off my girlfriends dad every time I need to work on something. A friend of mine she says "Bryce when did you get so mechanically inclined?" I go "After I got a chevy!"
actually I need to do the rockers myself, I have a small hole at the bottom of my door that needs addressed ASAP. At least bondo is cheap!

What's worse is having a garage with no room to work in ... and a dirt floor. I end up doing all automotive stuff outside in the driveway ... which means nothing gets done in winter.

Glad I got the Blazer squared away last fall. No issues so far, aside from the cheap plastic interior crap breaking. Heater controls are hanging by cables, glove box door hangs by support arm, & center console door ripped right off. Can't complain for a 24 model-year-old vehicle I suppose.

I hear ya on the salt - MA does the same thing. I think it's more the fact that they want your tax money off a new purchase more than it is about safety ...

Well yesterday I inspected my front brake system. (Been having ABS issues) I purchased new performance ceramic pads, caliper bracket bolts, and boots. The driver side bracket's gasket is ripped off and as a result it doesn't move, and the bolt is all chewed up. I also inspected my front wheel speed sensors. The driver side's o-ring is chewed up, but the guy at the auto parts store said don't worry....
