Starting building the custom housing for the bumper blinkers.

Added a "Third" 3rd brake light. Tied them into the trailer wire harness so they also work as turn signals.

Picked up a pair of leather seats off CL for $75

Here goes one bumper blinker... The white LED's are the running/parking lights... Ambers are the blinkers... being switchbacks. White shuts off when the blinker is activated, then ****s off once the blinker is deactivated.

picked up the "blazer brake upgrade" at the yard for 1st gens. (gets you dual piston calipers instead of single). all i need is calipers and pads,then if yall want il build a thread on it. everything bolts in,all factory.

I drove the LeSabre to my gigs over the weekend and I know it's sacrilege to say but I enjoyed it more than the Jimmy. I did two 200-mile trips over the weekend and averaged over 22mpg on each trip.

That said, I haven't quit on the Jimmy. I installed a new hood release cable on the Jimmy today. It was well worth it. The previous owner had messed up the hood release cable badly. The new one works perfectly.
