What plow do you use?
Looking for a plow setup for my 1999 2dr 4x4.
What does anyone use? Checking out the Meyers Home Pro, Northman 3100 and a couple others. Would prefer a Class III 2" receiver mount and hydraulic pump. Anyone know where to buy a used one because $3k is a lot of jack!

I got a Meyer plow setup on mine with a 8' western blade. Sags the front end...
Came with a 6.5' but one of the munts broke so I just use the 8'.
In a personal opinion.. I would go small. Bigger means heavier.

Depends if you want the plow for doing your own driveway, or trying to do commercial work.
Snowbear is not a plow. Its a glorified snow shovel. Just like all the ones that attach to your receiver hitch... you'll get a bunch of years of plowing your own driveway, but if you are trying anything more than that forget it.
There are LOTS of used plows available for these trucks if you shop around. For the price of a new snowbear or even less than a new "homeowner" plow you can have a sound second-hand commercial grade unit that with a little love and maintenance will outlive your truck.
For the record, I *AM* a commercial plow operator. I have a 6'-6" Boss V plow on a squarebody S15. Amazing plow, but good luck finding one as they were only made for three years. Almost all of my equipment is Boss brand... but picking a brand is best determined by what you need, want, and of course how close the dealer is when you need emergency parts!
