Default What are these?

98 Blazer 4 dr.
Yesterday I was in the compartment where the scissor jack is stored for the first time...always carry a small floor jack; so I never had reason to go in there...The package with the orange tarp & the white gloves are in there still unopened. Anyways; in the bottom of the compartment were these things...rubber coated; somewhat heavy and a mystery to me what they are. If anyone knows or has a guess I would love to figure this out.

wheel chocks.

basically if your changing a flat tire you put one in front of and behind a tire thats on the ground so your car doesnt roll away or fall off the jack

i still have mine from my old 83 s10 blazer and use them occasionally when i tow a vehicle they snug down nice onto my wooded deck. surprised they still put them in newer vehicles
