Looks like the Tahoe has a leak upfront... I'm just saying that because of my trans cooler spitting a line off the other day. Very familiar looking.

How was the mileage towing that? Maybe you should have stayed 750 miles away with Irene on her way there Sunday.

Doesn't leak a drop of internal fluids. That's condensation from the front A/C which works GREAT since I repaired the rear line using some RedEpoxY. I left the truck running after first positioning it and installing the hitch. You can barely see the puddle from the rear A/C drain in front of the rear tire (behind my dog). Both of those spots should be behind the respective tires. The picture was taken before we left Friday, the 19th.

It was a good 20-30 minutes before I backed up the extra few feet and hooked it up. Had to put the bikes in, etc. Last minute changes to cargo placement to make for ~500lb tongue weight.

Kyle, what are those 2 blocks on the roof right above the windshield? One "looks" like a stubby antenae but probably just something in the background lined up with it.
Rear A/C drain? That Tahoe has a rear A/C unit?
Hmmmm more observations "Captain Kyle" I didn't know you were the captain of the vollunteer fire dept. WTG!
Those sideview mirrows look more like wings, they're HUGE. Are they stock or for towing?

On the Tahoe, one is the XM reciever & the other is the Onstar antenna.

Yep, rear A/C & Heat. There are ducts in the head liner for the rear seat passengers and a separate control for back there as well.

The mirrors are slip on towing mirrors that my dad had layin' around for his 2004 Silverado. He doesn't use them anymore, but they fit my Tahoe perfectly and add MUCH needed visibility. Compare with my sig image or my garage pictures and you'll see that the stockers are body color & much smaller.

I've been Captain for ~2 years now.

I got a pair of the slip on towing mirrors & they are a PITA to put on! One side slips on with a little fight but the other side I was afraid of breaking the mirror housing.
I read & re-read the instructions & still the PS doesn't want to go on. That's a shame because with the bayliners' 120 merc in the rear view I don't see much else except for the side views & even then it's limited. Nevermind if I'm towing the 1985 Regal Medallion bowrider. That thing has a GM 3.8L V6 I/O thats stock 190hp & is really tall & fat. In all 3 mirrors it's just boat. lol
I love it when I can get them on, it's amazing to see what you're missing.

Congrats on making captain btw!

<edit> If anyone has found good towing mirrors for our blazers let us know please. I got mine from Rock Auto I think & they don't slip on well at all.

I tow a Popup camper behind mine, one campground we go to is on a hill, I have to put it in first gear for about 1/4 of a mile to get up the hill without overheating, no way to get a running start either, it starts right around a 90 degree turn. I also tow a utility trailer that is often overloaded and I tow a SS trailer with an 18' Pontoon boat.
