I'm working on selling my sisters old blazer, and just need to get an idea of what its worth. the motor is knocking pretty bad, and well i wouldn't trust it to drive out of town with. Its all options 4x4 and has had a lot of mechanical work done to it as far as brakes, heat, and air conditioning go. very little rust, and it has around 150k miles on it. oh and 4 brand new tires.
i know that a very lacking discretion of it, but hey it wasn't my vehicle.
i was thinking 1500-2000? am i in the ball park?

Depends in area .... if it were knocking badly I wouldn't pay much for it period
Youll prob make more parting it

Yeah bad engine makes it worthless to most buyers....a grand will prob get the attention of a mechanic who will fix and flip it.

Yeah a blown motor limits your market a lot a lot of people either don't know how to work on cars or don't want to spend the time to fix it by their self.

weve sold a few of these at work. all for 800 bucks.
depends on the area. i sold a 98 bravada with like 108,000 on it, not a dang thing wrong with it ran great and i was more then excited when i got 2700 for it, when i sent it to the auction i would have taken 1300 for it. so 1500-2000 for a rodknocking s10 around here wont happen
