Whats the idle on a 98 blazer
I put a db electrical alt on and when it's in gear when I stop the bat gauge drops under 14 volts but my idle is at 400 when it's in park my idle is 500 just wanting to know what the idle should be set at

Mine usually hangs around 600 and drops to about 550 when in gear. When started on a cold day, the idle stays up to 650 until the engine warms up.
