Default Who replaced a heater core?

Hi guys,
I have a question for those who replaced a heater core. Do you guys have pics of where it leaked? Or could you please describe where it failed?

Was it in the mesh, or in the tanks or the connectors?

Mine leaked at the gasket where the tubes meet the heater core. Sorry, no pics.

Default Heater core

i have a 92 s-10 blazer nd mine leaked where the tubes go into the heater core, when i turned mine on it leaked through the bottom vent onto the floor nd below where the heater core is under the carpet nd it soaked my passenger side floor with coolant, took me about 4 hours nd costed me like 30 bucks to replace, no biggie

Thanks for your answers guys.

Problem is, that i`m in germany and it`s really hard/impossible to get used blazer parts here. So I`m trying to figure out if i can take it out and fix it.

You guys said it were gasket`s and hose connections. This should be fixable for me. even if it`s are the tanks, i could just weld it...

But please keep the input coming...

I just did mine and it was leaking couldn't find a hole... but my gf's dad told me to try radiator stop leak, but I already put my new one in. that might work depending on how bad yours is. and also it is getting warmer you could always pull the hoses and plug them and just not use your heater...

Plugging the hoses is what i did until i can repair it...

But hey, i always complained about the blend door actuator that is stuck at hot. It just always heated. Now it fixed itself, my complete a/c / heater unit stopped working...

that whole thing is just a pain in the butt to get to and replace, if I were you I'd pull out the ac get some extra horsepower and don't worry about the heater core until it gets cold again

Well, the a/c never worked since i have the car...

I think i`ll pull it out and use the a/c compressor for onboard air...
