To bypass or not to Bypass that is the question.

Well here is my answer

I had a few hours of good weather and daylight so I got started 3 cuts 10 swear words and 3 hours later and Heater box is out new core in place. I hope the new core doesn't leak the way the tubes move makes me wonder.

Wish me luck I know a lot of you on here have done this and I see it as a right of passage after this i become official.

I did the same thing. broke that cover. You cant find em new anywhere. you're stuck going to a junkyard.

Well I finished it up in a few hours today and started in on other wiring issues I discovered in the dash seems that there was a thumping stereo in the truck at one time Only had a handfull of extra screws and nuts.

Now I have to replace the gauge cluster due to it wigging out most of the time (dancing fuel gauge, dead tach and speedo running 10mph off. I don't think it was original. but whatever no big, get it sorted sooner than later.

need to get this stuff done so I can work on cosmetics and clean up.
