I bought myself a ZR2 scissor jack since I expect it to be of use once I get my suspension back to its lifted height next year after I replace the sagging torsion bars and rear springs. As such I thought you might find it interesting to see the differences.
This is likely not definitive since the parts numbers for all of the stock jacks have changed over the years and so I can only tell you about these two.
The ZR2 jack pn is 15708573 and the non-ZR2 jack pn is17507220.
As you can see, generally the ZR2 jack is beefier and consequently heavier than my stock one.
The dimensions are given first for the ZR2 and then the non-ZR2. All other dimensions are the same.
Light blue: (length of pad) 9"/9" Light green: (width of pad) 4.75"/4.75" Red: (width of middle of pad) 3'/2.5" Yellow: (diameter of worm screw) 0.63"/0.49"
ZR2 jacks have "ZR2" stamped on their foot and have a warning on one of the top arms "USE ONLY ON VEHICLE SPECIFIED."
The ZR2 scissor gears are doubled compared to those on the non-ZR2.
