1992 S10 Blazer 4.3 Won't Start.
I just picked up an 1992 S10 Blazer 4.3 Tahoe 4x4... I drove it home and it started alright took a few time it's been sitting for the best part of a year... brought it home and turned it off and restarted it a few times just to make sure it was workin alright but in the last few days i haven't been able to get it to go like its almost kicking sometimes but it won't go... Theres a new fuel filter, plugs, and the wires aren't the old either... I can hear the fuel pump running when I turn the key... But I've heard these blazers are a bitch to start once they've been sitting awhile.... Any ideas thanks...

I might start with the lazy approach and crank it over with the gas pedal to the floor (clear flood mode).
If it doesn't start with that, then it's back to the basics, checking for spark and fuel pressure.
Make sure your battery has a good charge in it first.

yea i had an 85 that sat for awhile and when i finally fixed it up; no start. cranked but wouldnt turn over. so like chevylover said floor the thing while starting it and it should start maybe rough but will eventually calm down. a spark check wont hurt either. i also had a prob one day getting out of work, where it turned out to be faulty wiring to the pump. sometimes it worked sometimes it didnt. i know u can hear the pump but maybe the shaking from the cranking is loosening or moving the wiring as u try to start.
