Default 2" Body lift install time

I was wondering arounf how long it take to install a 2" body lift on a 97 blazer 4x4 4dr. I have air tools and i am mecanicallt inclined. I ahve done a body lift before, but was jsut wondering how hard this one is. Also, is there anything i will need to know, like bumps i might hit and other things that might help. I plan to soak everything in B'laster a few times before i start.

thanks,
Brandon

Default RE: 2" Body lift install time

I've never done a body lift, but I would first look very carefully at things like brake lines and wiring from the body to the frame. Check to see if you need to remove any mounting bracketts to allow free movement of wires, fuel lines, vacuum hoses, transmission lines and brake lines. After you have carefully inspected these things, be aware of them when you're lifting in that area and watch carefully and lift slowly, so you can make adjustment as you go, rather than repairs after you finish.

There you go, advise from a guy who's never done the job.

I hate having to edit my spelling mistakes...lol
