Default RE: 4x4 Actuator

can i use the motor(actuator) for the 3 button switch with my blazer which has the 4 button (auto 4wd) switch? if i can't, can i just get the 3 button switch for my dash and get the 3 button motor (actuator)?
Sorry, but no, you cannot do either of these. If yours is AUTO, it is a class 2 communication device and will set a service 4WD light. Not only the button and encoder motor are different the TCCM and the wiring are as well as the front axle actuator, yours has an electronically controlled solenoid instead of the vacuum diaphram the 3-button has.
