Default any older 4x4blazers around? 88-94?

I just started a project on an1988 4x4 s10 blazer 2dr. I have engine out and am rebuilding as we speak. will redo the interior and transmission so will have a pretty reliable blazer when finished. Are there many older blazers around here, and what are some of the things you have done with yours to give me ideas as to what to do for and with mine?
i'm talkin about engine mods, color schemes etc. I will be using this for a daily driver upon completion and light boat or trailer haulin.
right now its black inside and out but am goin to start on body and interior soon. can redo anything in any color.
Any and all ideas are appreciated.

Welcome!

Yes, there are a few on here. There are a few with trail rigs of the same age bracket. I'm sure you'll find some ideas even if they come from people that don't own one in the year range you're talking about.

Here's my 85 project Motor is out, putting in a 350, 3" BL, 31's, going to paint it white. Next step is to pull the 350 motor and start rebuilding it.

I might have a few S10-Blazers in your age bracket. Check my signature.

Engine mods.
Decent cam for towing, talk to your engine machine shop.
Headers, cat back system, and a decent intake. Chip

Tranny mods.
Transgo pinless accumulators, high energy rebuild kit, kevlar 2/4 band, kevlar cluthes, I got the Raybestoes Z-Pack for my 3/4 clutch pack. Governor mod, torttle valve mod, 4/3 downshift mod in tranny pump, and upgrade to at least a 10 vane pump.

Posi-Lok kit for the front axle.

2" body lift will help tremendously witht eh engine/tranny work.

I have a 93 as well. I haven't done anything to it really. I use it for my DD and just plain can't afford to fix anything if I break it on the trails, so it stays on teh pavement only.
