Default Approaching 120k...Service?

I'm coming up on 120k miles on my car and I was wondering what service issues I should look in to. I know I have to replace the brakes anyway but around this many miles, anything else I should have looked at? Suspension? Also, what kind of oil should I be running now? Should I look into synthetic? Any general tips would be appreciated.

Whydo you have to replace your brake lines? should stil be fine. On other service, would change fuel filter, diff fluids, tranny fluid. Would also check u-joints, ball joints, and the like. wouldn't hurt to flush and fill radiator, maybe have it pressure tested. Don't see the point in switching to synthetic at this point.would just use something fo higher mileage engines, I use Mobil Clean 5000, love the stuff. Would probably run a can of seafoam through it, worked wonders on my 97 with 167K.

I've only had the truck since 115k miles so I cant speak on what has happened before that. I do know that since I have had it I have had the water and fuel pump replaced as they were on the way out. IN addition, I was told after a 108 point inspection that the brakes were at 30% (almost 2-3 months ago) so I know I need to get those taken care of. Outside of that I have not done anything else mechanically.

Suggestions?

Oil- Run a can of Marvelous Marvins Mystey Oil through the engine to help clean out the slduge build up. Read the can an follow the directions, you add it before the oil change.

Full tune up- Spark plugs, plug wires, cap rotor, pcv valve, air filter, fuel filter, top of all fluids, wiper blades.

Tranny- get it flushed or drop the pan and install a drain plug. Replace the 4-5 quarts and drain the pan every year and add the 4=5 quarts.

T-case- Drain and refill.

Front and rear diff- drain and refill.

Shocks?

Brakes- When you do them, install new rotors, calipers, and brake hoses.

Vacuum lines- Replace every one of them.

Door locks- spray them with powder graphite, don't use anything but graphite. You can find it in a hobby store and some autoparts stores. Do not get any liquid version, liquids only attract dirt.

Silicone spray all your rubber door seals. This will help soften upt eh rubber so they seal better and last longer.

Replace all the light bulbs ont eh truck, use dielecric grease.

That ought to keep you budy for a while.
