Does the air conditioning work?
Did you try turning the compressor pully with the belt off and if you did, does it turn easily.
Are there any idler pulleys and if there are do they spin with the belt off?

Does it only squeal when the clutch engages? If so, then either you need to adjust the air gap on the clutch, or just replace the clutch. I guess it is also possible that the AC compressor has bitten it as well. If you energize the AC clutch, try to turn the compressor, and find that it is quite difficult to turn, then there is something amiss inside the compressor.
