Blown fuse?

Ok, i have a lil problem..i have a 87 S10 Blazer and last week i replaced a fuse for my heater blower.i had a 2nd hand fuse givin to me and tonight it blew.So was the 2nd hand fuse old (passed its shelf life) or do i have a problem?? Any help would be cool...Thanks

Definitely try a new fuse first. If that blows, you may have a problem.
