theres a buzzing noise and it sounds like its coming from the a/c pulley from a 97 4.3 vortec... does any1 know what it is or what it might be??

 

It sounds like what happened to mine. Got louder and louder and then froze one day (while driving and broke the serpentine belt). If you think it's the AC pulley? Change the compressor soon and it will save $$$ on a tow. I got a nice used one for $80. Paid $75 for the tow home.

 

that's what mine did right before the compressor clutch burned up.... :/
