Default Alt. pulley squeeking

I thought the belt was squeeling but I loosened it up and was turning each pulley and it was the Alt. pulley that has a squeek to it. Is there anything I can use to grease it? or is it time for a new one(alt.)?

You will almost always get a sqeak out of an alternator pulley if you are spinning it by hand. I would put a new belt on it first andrecheck.

I agree with lastcoupe, but I have also found that a little WD40 is one of my best friends.
