chevy lover called it. it could be any of the front suspension pieces. the upper control arms are usually the weakest, they will bend near the bushings/cross shaft where it attaches to the frame.
its going to be hard to see a bent frame. even if the frame is bent its not a difficult thing to fix for a body shop. the local shop charges $100 to pull the clip straight on our race cars when we get stuffed in the wall (but thats a good price since he is a fellow racer and helps us out). i would just be sure to mention to your friend doing the work that you think the chassis may be tweaked and have him check it for sure.

Well my dad has come to the conclusion that we need to buy upper and lower arm and a new tie rod. He did lots of measuring and claims that the frame is straight but the other components mentioned before are in need of replacement. Now it is just a matter of seeing how much all of it will cost to do to decide whether or not I should just buy a new car and part this out or something. I was also thinking about trying to find a blazer with a bad tranny for cheap since the one in mine is pretty damn new. My dad doesn't want to spend more than 1500 on all the repairs.

If I do decide to get a new car, who do I sell this to? Junkyard or something? And how much might I get for it?
